Ric’s Bench is a safe place in Haywards Heath to come and just be – however you may be feeling.

​At Ric’s Bench you will find a warm welcome, a cup of tea or coffee, a snack, even a newspaper.
If you wish, you can talk, or simply just be in the company of other people.

If you have a particular problem, you will find someone who will listen; they might not have the answers, but they may be able to point you in the right direction.
Ric’s Bench is based at St Richard’s hall (just behind St Richard's Church) and, when the weather allows, in the adjacent garden.

​During Ric’s Bench sessions the tranquil St Richard’s church is also open, should you wish to sit still, or pray, or light a candle.

Ric's Bench is run and currently funded by St Richard's Church to help our community, improve mental health, wellbeing and help combat loneliness.
